May Workshops 2020

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID19, it has been necessary to postpone both of these workshops in May. As soon as it’s safe to run workshops at The Slipper Studio, new dates will be advertised.

Lino Cutting for Beginners and Rusty Printmakers.

Working from an image of your choice, this one day workshop will introduce you to one colour lino cutting and printing. This is the perfect introduction for first time printmakers and a great reminder for those folks who haven’t picked up a lino cutter in a while.

Saturday 2nd May, 10 – 4pm, for a maximum of 5 people, £65, including: materials, use of equipment and refreshments; just bring lunch.

More tea, Vicar? Create beautiful paper sculpture.

Using a deceptively simple technique, you will learn how to create your own templates and create a cornucopia of hanging and free standing paper sculptures, including hearts and fruits from vintage papers and old books, before moving onto tea cups, jugs or tea pots, which are the stars of the show.

Saturday 16th May, 10 – 4pm, for a maximum of 5 people, £65, including: most materials, the use of equipment and refreshments; just bring your lunch.
