Lino Cutting and Printing for Beginners & Rusty Printmakers

Working from an image of your choice, this one day workshop will introduce you to one colour lino cutting and printing. This is the perfect introduction for the first time printmaker and a great reminder for anyone looking for some advice and pointers.
I am very pleased to have been invited to run this workshop on the first day of the Bonsall Art Trail. The workshop will be held in the upstairs room of The Village Hall; please be aware that if you have any issues with stairs, unfortunately there isn’t a lift available.

The Village Hall, Bonsall, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3EP.
Saturday 18th June, 9.45 – 4pm, 8 places, £60 per person, including: tuition, use of equipment, most materials, plus tea and coffee available throughout the day.

Please bring along: your own cutters (optional), a pencil case with pencils, sharpener, rubber, biro and ruler, a 22g Pritt stick, a pack of cheap baby wipes, an apron, an old magazine to transport wet work home, 1 mask/face covering*, A5 ideas for your design and your lunch.

* The venue is well ventilated, but masks may need to be worn for limited periods, such as when you are close to people during demonstrations or walking around the venue.
