Lino Cutting for Beginners and Rusty Printmakers

 

Working from an image of your choice, this one day workshop will introduce you to one colour lino cutting and printing. This is the perfect introduction for the first time printmaker and a great reminder for anyone looking for some advice and pointers.

Turner’s Art Studio, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 5EX, Monday 14th June, 10 – 4pm, with just 5 places to allow for social distancing, £55, including: tuition, the use of equipment, some materials, plus tea and coffee available throughout the day.

Please bring along: your own cutters if you have them, a tub of black and white water based block printing inks – Ocaldo, 300ml or Daler Rowney, 250ml, an old soup/dessert spoon, an old dinner knife/small palette knife, a pencil case with pencils, sharpener, rubber, biro and ruler, masking tape, a sheet of A4 tracing paper, a small Pritt stick, baby wipes, an apron, an old magazine to transport wet work home, 2 masks/face coverings, an apron, a lidded cup and your lunch.
