Create a Trio of Christmas Decorations – explore Metal Foil Embossing

 

Join me at Hopton Hall Gallery, in the centre of Ashbourne, Derbyshire, for a relaxing afternoon of making, that will get your festive to do list firmly on track.
Metal foils are a great material to explore, enabling you to cut and emboss your designs and create a range of beautiful and unique hanging Christmas decorations. Bring along ideas that inspire you or take inspiration from a range of both traditional and contemporary festive designs – think Russian dolls, Scandi designs and ginger bread houses. Whatever you create, they are sure to take pride of place in your home this Christmas, or, if you can bear to part with them, they will make great gifts or present toppers.

 

This workshop will suit the beginner or more experienced maker, ready to enjoy a bit of pre Christmas magic.

 

Wednesday 9th December 2026, 12.30 – 3.30pm, with 12 places available, £35 per person, including: tuition, materials, use of equipment, plus tea/coffee and biscuits.
