Gel printing plates are a great way to explore monoprinting and all without the need for a printing press.
Explore a range of gel plate techniques including layering, impressing, creating stencils and exploring masking techniques with leaves and flowers, and leave with a range of unique monoprints.
This workshop will suit the creative beginner or those with some experience of different creative processes and techniques.
Please bring along your own Gelli Plate – 6 x 6 inch, 5 x 7 inch or 8 x 10 inch plate.They can be purchased from www.handprinted.co.uk.

A great introductory day to two exciting and addictive print processes.
Begin the day exploring one colour lino cutting and printing using designs of your own choice, before exploring a range of monoprinting techniques. There will be a particular focus on how you may continue developing your new skills at your kitchen table.
