Six varied and inspirational workshops to choose from in Derbyshire and Hampshire.

Experimental Printmaking

Taking our inspiration from a number of design sources, including mid century design and the work of contemporary printmakers, we will explore pattern through mark making, drawing and collage, with a mixed media approach. We will create experimental printing blocks and stamps, before developing a series of lino cuts.

Choose from Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th March, 10 – 4pm, £65, including materials and refreshments; please bring your lunch.

Art in The Barn

I shall be heading down to Hampshire towards the end of March, to deliver 4 workshops: Lino Cutting, Wire Sculpture, Unique Monoprints and Design To Textiles. The workshops are part of an Arts Week held in a beautiful thatched barn in the Meon Valley; with superb views over the South Downs it is a unique and inspiring location. Accommodation is available on the farm and you may wish to  stay in a Shepherds Hut or a Yurt.

Thursday 21st – 25th March, half day – £55/full day – £95, including most materials, refreshments and a delicious lunch.

Posies and Pots – an English Tradition

A handful of flowers casually arranged in a favourite cup or jug has inspired many still life artists, including Winifred Nicholson, Debbie George and Emily Sutton. Spend a relaxing day exploring drawing, painting and composition using inks, pencil crayons and a monoprinting technique. This would make a lovely gift for Mothering Sunday.

Saturday 30th March, 10 – 4pm, £65, including materials and refreshments; please bring your lunch.
