Inspired by Bloomsbury – still life with flowers and pots

A mixed bunch of flowers in a favourite vase or jug is a simple pleasure and one that cheers; add a favourite ornament or two and you have a beautiful still life.
Numerous artists, such as Emma Dunbar, Debbie George, Emily Maudey and Jo Aylward, create images exploring the pattern, shape and colour of floral images. However, the Bloomsbury artists, including Vanessa Bell, Roger Fry and Duncan Grant, are the ultimate influencers of this relaxed, domestic imagery.
Join me at The Slipper Studio where I will guide you through a range of exciting mixed media approaches, including collage, drawing and painting.
This workshop is suitable for those with a range of creative experiences, looking to explore their collage, drawing and painting skills.

Saturday 11th February, 10am – 4pm, £85 per person, including: tuition, use of equipment, materials, plus refreshments; just bring lunch.
