Make time to Relax, Learn and Create at The Slipper Studio

Liz is an experienced teacher and practitioner, running very well received creative workshops across the East Midlands. Her workshops are designed and tailored to meet specific themes, briefs and the needs of groups, be they for an Arts Society, a family or a friendship group.

 

 

Liz will be happy to discuss planning and delivering a workshop at The Slipper Studio or a selected venue, with a theme or process of your choice.

You may join Liz at her home studio - The Slipper Studio, in the village of Carsington, situated between Matlock and Ashbourne, for her planned series of workshops throughout the year. The studio is beautifully presented, with handcrafted workbenches and a wood burner, with stunning views down into the village. It is a place to relax, learn and create in a lovely, calm environment. Places are limited to a maximum of 5, with plenty of opportunities for individual support and advice. On a sunny day lunch can be eaten in her peaceful garden.

Twice a year, Liz travels down to The Meon Valley in Hampshire, to run a creative arts week with textile designer and illustrator Alison Butler. The two friends met whilst studying at Loughborough University in the late 1980s and began working together in 2019, running highly successful workshops in a beautiful C18th thatched barn, on a working farm at Meon Springs. www.bloomingdesigns.com
